Lawn Care Lead at MRA Recruiting Services – Rogers, Minnesota

Lawncare Lead

Pay range: $25 to $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7am–5pm (Fridays as needed for weather make-up days)

The Role:
Ironwood Outdoor Services in Rogers, MN, is seeking to add a Lawncare Lead to their growing staff. You’ll run a crew of 3–4 people delivering high-quality lawn maintenance to HOA communities. You'll be the face of Ironwood on-site — keeping work on schedule, equipment in shape, and your crew safe and productive.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, train, and motivate your crew daily; assign tasks and hold the team to quality standards
• Operate commercial mowers (zero-turn, stand-on), trimmers, edgers, and blowers
• Execute mowing, edging, trimming, and debris cleanup to spec
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment; report issues promptly
• Hold daily tailgate safety meetings and enforce PPE and safety protocols
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients; handle concerns professionally
• Log work completed, crew hours, and site notes using company tools

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of commercial lawn care experience, with at least 1 year leading a crew
• Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• Strong knowledge of mowing techniques, equipment operation, and turf care
• Solid leadership, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one) may be required
