Health Unit Coordinator - Endoscopy at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: Functions in the Endoscopy Nursing area as the unit coordinator/secretary. Through communication, requisitioning, management of supplies and equipment, coordinating the activities of the nursing staff, patients, physicians, other hospital personnel and visitors. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient operations of the nursing area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
• High critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
