About This Position

Position Title: Revenue Specialist

Department: Finance

Grade Range/Job Status: Full Time /Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reporting Relationship: Chief Financial Officer

Supervisory Responsibilities: NA

Typical Schedule: 40 Hours/5 Days Per Week. Primarily M-F Days. Hybrid hours available. Must occasionally be willing and able to work flexible hours/days, including evenings and weekends, reflective of the dynamic schedule of the organization.

Position Summary

The Revenue Specialist enters data into RMS frameworks, manages service agreements, enters RMS and service agreement information into the billing system, billing and tie out of Hammer Travel, entering deposits, auditing house finance books, and entering SSA Payee reports. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. RMS Frameworks

· Verifies RMS Framework schedules are accurate.

· Enters framework components on framework worksheet.

· Enters framework components in billing system.

· Provides Residential Services Coordinator with the RMS Framework information.

2. Service Agreements

· Downloads service agreements from MNITS and store them in the imaging software.

· Enters service agreements in the billing system and verifies accuracy.

· Troubleshoots incorrect service agreements.

3. Hammer Travel Program

· Prepares/processes monthly Travel Billing.

· Processes Travel payments.

· Reconciles billing monthly.

4. General Finance Activities

· Enters Deposits to accounting systems.

· Audit House financial books.

· Enter Representative Payee Reports to online Social Security system.

Essential Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Mid-level finance experience working for a mid-sized organization. Formal, informal, and cross-disciplinary experiences will be considered.
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to use and adopt technology and a willingness to learn new programs.
  • Requires ability to work independently.
  • Organization and Detail-Oriented: Experience managing multiple tasks and projects and maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including fluency in English.

Physical demands include:

  • Frequent use of a telephone, frequent use of repetitive motion activities including typing on a computer keyboard and monitor, laptop or scanner, and the ability to work for several hours at a time at a desk and computer.
  • Ability to bend and move to perform nursing head to toe assessments, evaluations, lifting, and are able to complete other skilled nursing tasks.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Physical demands may include twisting/turning, kneeling/squatting, reaching.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work diplomatically with a wide variety of people, including people served, families, legal representatives, and other professionals.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours/days, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the organization
