POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant is part of the Finance & Accounting team. This role contributes to the success of the company by the integrity and accuracy of all balance sheet and income statement transactions for FOH, Inc and its subsidiaries and related entities. The Staff Accountant supports our vision by leading and synchronizing all daily, weekly and month end activities to deliver financial reporting by the 10th business day of each month.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time exempt position (Exempt)
  • Our Headquarters office is located at 7630 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33138
  • This role participates in our hybrid schedule
  • Hybrid Schedule: Monday & Friday; 2 days working remotely. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday; 3 days working in the headquarters office.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Maintains the general ledger of US (GAAP) and international (IFRS) entities, preparing account reconciliations, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• In collaboration with the GL Manager, orchestrates the full-cycle accounting and ERP activities of multiple team members and multiple entities to ensure all month end duties are completed on time and on point

• Orchestrates the cyclical accounting and SAP Business One activities of multiple team members to ensure all month end duties are completed on time and on point

• Supervises treasury, AP, AR and tax functions, their related ledgers and entries and the efficient use of their applicable platforms (Brex, Navan, Airtable, Avalara)

• Manages intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities and ensures proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing policies.

• Assists in upholding the integrity of our general ledger by understanding actual vs budget outcomes, researching variances and posting valid accruals accordingly.

• Reconciles and electronically documents all balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure audit-readiness

• Plays an important role in the preparation of final financial reporting package, leveraging the ERP, FP&A and spreadsheet/database platforms (currently SAP, Datarails and Airtable)

• Supports the financial acumen and development of departmental managers by participating in departmental P&L reviews monthly and contributing where applicable

• Engages in internal and external audits as needed

• Maintains records of core team members’ achievements, productivity and development opportunities to prepare and deliver on-time reviews

• Processes and approves accurate and timely payroll for core team members. Approves company-wide payroll biweekly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Accounting

• Minimum 5+ years in Accounting or field-related experience

• Minimum 3+ year in in leadership and coaching experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Applications

• Proficient in ERP systems, SAP Business One Accounting System

• Knowledge of Brex, Avalara, Datarails is preferred

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
