Job Details

We are looking for a solid Plumbing Designer with a Minimum of 5 years’ experience. We would prefer someone with Highrise knowledge of plumbing, food service plumbing and roof drainage, toilet rooms, all familiar with commercial projects. Experience with fire protection system design criteria is also welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Design and layout engineering drawings within Plumbing specialty and plumbing code
• Complete Plumbing calculations including sanitary waste, water supply, natural gas systems, storm and equipment sizes.
• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, gas systems, and domestic water distribution systems.
• Designs, selects, schedules, sizes and specifies basic Plumbing system components to include plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment based on Cal green and plumbing code.
• Follow department work processes and design standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience designing plumbing systems using Revit or AutoCAD for commercial buildings
• 4 years in Revit & Design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Working knowledge of AutoCad skills
• Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and group presentation skills
