Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be skilled working independently from concept to completion, including interpreting 3D models and technical drawings, executing both MIG and TIG welds, and tackling advanced fabrication projects.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate metal and plastic components and structures
  • Perform accurate measurement, layout, cutting, shaping, and fit-up of materials using appropriate hand and power tools
  • Execute high-quality MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals to precise tolerances
  • Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, brake/shear machines, grinders, presses, drills, plasma cutting equipment, and CNC/CAD systems
  • Assist in prototyping and modifying designs to improve product functionality or manufacturability
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of work by conducting regular inspections and quality control tests on fabricated assemblies
  • Maintain all equipment through routine maintenance and basic repairs; troubleshoot fabrication issues as needed
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and regulations in all operations
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues and continuously improve fabrication processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate metal and plastic components and structures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of fabrication and welding experience
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, technical drawings, 3D CAD/shop drawings, and measurement tools
  • Experienced with MIG/TIG welding and plasma cutting systems
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with workshop safety protocols and best practices
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and physically handle fabrication tasks for extended periods
Skills
  • Blueprint Reading: Accurately interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Metal Preparation & Fabrication: Cut, shape, and fit metal/plastic components using hand and power tools
  • Measurement & Calculation: Maintain alignment, tolerance, and precision
  • MIG and TIG Welding: Execute to a high-quality standard
  • Operation of fabrication tools, plasma cutting equipment, and CNC/CAD systems
  • Quality Control: Inspect, test, and ensure fabricated work meets industry standards
  • Safety Awareness: Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe workplace
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and fabrication issues
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members, engineers, or supervisors
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new fabrication techniques, tools, and technologies
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with both metal and plastic fabrication
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Familiar with 3D CAD software
  • Associate’s Degree in Welding Technology
Schedule
  • 8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday
  • Overtime as required
