The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising food and beverage service, prioritizing complete guest satisfaction and seamless operations. This role includes ensuring staff proficiency in: proper food and dining presentation, legal and safe alcoholic beverage service, kitchen safety protocols, and health regulations, all while upholding company standards.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all onboard food & beverage operations, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation, and guest service
  • Recruit, train, and mentor F&B teams — servers, bartenders, support staff, and supervisors
  • Oversee daily service, including dining room flow, bar operations, banquet service, and event execution
  • Monitor guest satisfaction; proactively engage with guests and resolve concerns professionally
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls while maintaining profitability and service excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, maritime regulations, safety protocols, and Board of Health standards
  • Support POS operations, cash-handling, daily reporting, and bank reconciliation
  • Collaborate with leadership, culinary teams, and marketing on promotions, specialty events, and brand initiatives

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in F&B management, ideally in high-volume dining, banquets, weddings, or event-driven operations
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of F&B operations, cost control, inventory management, and service standards
  • Excellent guest-service mindset, communication skills, and calmness under pressure
  • Ability to adapt quickly to vessel operations, changing conditions, and guest expectations
  • Minimum 4 years progressive F&B management experience; hospitality/business education preferred
  • Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours
  • Availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
