Job Title: Framer

Location: Morristown, TN

Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Primary duties will include:

• Retrieve wood from work area and work with schedule to complete tasks.

• Use frame parts to complete furniture frame.

• Operate staple gun which weighs from five to ten pounds to staple frame parts together. Also use glue gun which weighs up to five pounds to glue frame parts together.

• Communicate with frame department supervisor or lead person on quality issues or bad frame parts.

• Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Keen attention to detail

• Line drawing reading skills

• Able to use common hand tools and power tools

• Good math and reasoning ability is essential

• PPE and carpentry trade tools

• Troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred education:

• High School diploma is preferred, GED required.

• We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma.

The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are:

• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.

• Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
