Operations Support Specialist at Stellar Industries Inc – Kanawha, Iowa

Summary: This position will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Enter scrap to job tickets and become fluent in MRP software timely:
• Create supporting work documents
• Monitor and manually close jobs when complete
• Complete rework job to replace scrapped parts if necessary
• Print/ sort/ batch/distribute job travelers
• Minor inventory adjustments: request change of part locations, and primary bins
• Manage add sheet and returns
• Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies
• Assist in managing DMR/ NC items
• Coordinate with purchasing when supplies are needed
• Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements
• Act as a positive role model for all co-workers
• Promote a productive and non-disruptive work ethic within the company
• Perform other duties as assigned
