We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to optimize production, quality, and efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining effective production systems, developing a highly trained team, and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and oversee daily departmental operations, assign tasks, authorize overtime, and control costs and product wasteLead production activities within assigned areas and communicate effectively across shiftsEnsure compliance with ISO quality standards and internal process proceduresMonitor and approve employee timecards for accuracyDevelop, implement, and manage employee training plans and performance reviewsCoach, mentor, and support employee development and goal settingDrive efficiency using 5S and other lean manufacturing methodologiesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and support teams to develop CAPAs and corrective actionsCommunicate expectations, monitor results, and enforce systems, policies, and proceduresFacilitate process and quality improvements by promoting “quality at the source”Organize production schedules and communicate production runs to team membersAttend and present at tier meetings across multiple levelsEnsure adherence to health and safety proceduresLead continuous improvement initiatives through internal improvement programsOversee manufacturing flow across departments to maintain optimal efficiencySupport operations management with hiring plans and workforce developmentTroubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issuesIdentify, lead, and report on process improvement initiativesResolve production flow stoppages promptlyOptimize inventory control procedures and develop Kanban systems for consumablesCreate and implement standard work practices across departmentsInterview and evaluate candidates for open positionsEnforce company policies and collaborate with Management and Human Resources as neededPerform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredBachelor’s degree preferred3–5 years of relevant experiencePrevious manufacturing experience preferredMachine shop experience strongly desiredMinimum 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
