Position Description:

The UI Designaer is responsible for delivering conceptually strong, visually cohesive, and strategically aligned creative across web, interactive, and print channels for electronics products.

This role centers on web/UI design, creating intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences, while also providing art direction and creative execution across integrated marketing initiatives that support brand storytelling and campaign objectives. This is an onsite job in Dallas, TX

Specific responsibilities include:

Web/UI Design & User Experience (Primary Focus)

· Design responsive, visually compelling, and user-centered web interfaces

· Translate wireframes and user journeys into polished desktop and mobile UI designs

· Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and interaction design principles

· Ensure accessibility, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), usability, and adherence to brand standards

· Develop and maintain scalable design systems, templates, and component libraries

· Partner closely with developers to ensure pixel-accurate implementation

· Iterate designs based on analytics, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback

Brand Identity & Visual Strategy

· Maintain and evolve consistent visual standards across all creative assets

· Translate marketing strategy into cohesive visual systems aligned to brand voice and values

· Provide art direction across typography, color, imagery, layout, and interaction patterns

· Apply user-centered design methodologies to concepts, navigation structures, storyboards, and layouts

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define objectives, constraints, and creative approach

Multichannel Marketing Communications

Design and support execution of integrated marketing materials, including:

· Website and multimedia content

· Email campaigns

· Social media assets

· Promotional merchandise

· Internal and external presentations

· Photography and video assets

· Brochures, catalogs, and print collateral

· Digital and print advertising

· Retail and point-of-purchase displays

· Event and exhibit graphics

Creative Quality & Execution

· Review deliverables for brand consistency, accessibility, and production readiness

· Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to deadlines and detail

· Balance creative vision with timelines and resource constraints

· Ensure high-quality digital and print production standards

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in digital and print design, with emphasis on web/UI
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design and high-level visual execution
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and Figma
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end best practices
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to staying current with evolving web design trends and technologies
  • Experience in photography, image capture, and retouching

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of instructional design principles or learning science
  • Motion design or micro-interaction experience
  • Experience with localization and multilingual UI design
  • Wireframing, prototyping, and information architecture experience
