Infrastructure Core AWS Support Engineer (12-Month Contract)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Core AWS Support Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in Tysons, VA. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting and enabling our engineering teams' adoption and effective use of Amazon Bedrock (AI) within our AWS infrastructure. You will also leverage your experience with Azure OpenAI (strong plus), advanced scripting, and relevant AWS certifications to optimize and support our cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support Implementation: Work closely with core engineering teams to implement and optimize Amazon Bedrock within our AWS ecosystem.
• Enablement: Help core engineers to fully utilize Bedrock capabilities; provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash/Shell) to automate repeated tasks and streamline infrastructure operations.
• AI Platform Support: Contribute expertise in AI/ML services, particularly Amazon Bedrock, and provide support on Azure OpenAI as needed.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Clearly communicate solutions, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in knowledge-sharing across teams.
• Certifications & Best Practices: Leverage your Solutions Architect Professional Certification to apply best practices for secure and efficient AWS operations.

Required Qualifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock (AI)
• Proficiency in scripting: Python, Bash/Shell
• Strong plus: Experience with Azure OpenAI
• Ability to communicate project experience and technical implementations clearly
• Comfortable working onsite in Tysons, VA (5 days/week)
