Cook - up to $32/hr with tips! at Mt. Diablo BBQ – Lafayette, California

Join us at Mt. Diablo BBQ - Coming soon to Lafayette! The Cook is responsible for ensuring that company standards are being met in the non-customer facing areas of our restaurant. Our Cooks play an essential role in delighting every guest.

Our Cook's starting hourly rate is $18 - $23/hr. We estimate that our team members will average $9/hr in tips through our tip pool (in addition to hourly wage).

Key Responsibilities:

• Trim and prepare meat (including seasoning)
• Place meat in the smokers to company procedure
• Working knowledge of ingredients to prepare (including sides, recipes, etc)
• Prepare and plate food according to our menu specifications and ticket orders
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
• Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware
• Ensure that kitchen items remained stocked throughout the shift
• Follow company food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned
