Outpatient RN - $5,000.00 Sign On Bonus at Hunterdon Health Care System – Flemington, New Jersey

Position Summary

Provides quality nursing care through the application of nursing process using evidence-based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1. Facilitates, provides, and coordinates patient care.

2. Effectively and efficiently documents all care provided to patients in electronic medical record.

3. Maintains Professional Development.

4. Maintains Patient Safety.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required: Minimum 2 years psychiatric nursing experience

Preferred: None

License, Registry or Certification:

Required: NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification

Preferred: ANCC Psychiatric and Mental Health certification

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required: Must pass annual competencies based program and mandated in-service education. Experience working with psychiatric and substance abuse populations. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
