Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture that values teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and open communication.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop department supervisors and employees through effective performance management, training, and coaching.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Administer and enforce equitable application of company policies and procedures.
  • Encourage employee engagement by maintaining open lines of communication and soliciting feedback to enhance operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of warehouse, production, and distribution, ensuring safe and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve branch objectives and deliver best-in-class customer service.
  • Partner with the Branch Sales Manager to align operational capabilities with sales strategies and customer requirements.
  • Drive adherence to all safety standards, regulatory requirements (OSHA, EEO, etc.), and Boise Cascade’s safety culture.
  • Ensure maintenance, security, and efficient use of plant facilities, fleet, and material handling equipment.
  • Plan and recommend layout changes or equipment investments to support operational objectives.
  • Develop and improve processes for receiving, storage, order selection, and delivery.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer needs while optimizing working capital.
  • Oversee annual physical inventory and disposition of obsolete or damaged materials.
  • Facilitates and promotes Total Quality process and interacts with all associates to ensure appropriate communication.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: College degree or equivalent experience in a related job function. Working Conditions are normal office environment with minimal physical exertion. Performs duties under seasonal environment conditions. May be required to perform limited operations duties.

Preferred Qualifications: Must have broad knowledge in millwork and sales; typically more than ten (10) years in a related job function. Must have demonstrated commitment to customer service and the Boise Cascade culture. Must have excellent sales and communication skills, be assertive, flexible, and have strong organization and leadership skills.

Compensation:

$120,000- $170,000
