• Design and guide the development of software architectures that meet business objectives and technical requirements.

• Lead architectural discussions, introduce effective design patterns, and provide guidance on critical technical decisions.

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align software architecture with business priorities and technology strategy.

• Establish and promote engineering standards, including code quality, security, scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability.

• Conduct code reviews and champion software development best practices across engineering teams.

• Mentor and support software engineers, strengthening their technical capabilities and understanding of architectural principles.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving system design, application behavior, and performance.

• Research emerging technologies and develop proofs of concept to assess their potential value to the software ecosystem.

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering architecture, system design, and implementation decisions.

• Improve software development workflows, DevOps practices, and delivery processes to support reliable and efficient releases.

• Identify opportunities to use AI-powered tools and automation to increase team efficiency, improve engineering output, and enhance software quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on software architecture and system design.

• Advanced knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

• Deep understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong proficiency in database design and technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and Redis.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.

• Proven ability to use AI tools and automation strategically to improve team productivity, efficiency, or engineering quality.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, combined with a strategic approach to technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, drive change, and adapt to evolving priorities.
