The Cottonwood school is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 12th-grade students in Alpine, Amador, El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento Counties. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Parent Support Supervisor, this position aims to liaise between families and the school; refer and provide information on services available to students and families; convey information
regarding school activities, policies, goals, and procedures; host weekly park days in the assigned region plan,
organize, and coordinate events for the respective Cottonwood Community Group - 2 field trips/events per
month and provide a monthly newsletter.

Requirements:Required Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent
? One (1) year of experience in a related field or position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
? Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, or similar tools)
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience working at The Cottonwood School
? Associate’s degree or completion of college coursework in a related field preferred
Employment Requirements
? SB 484 Verification
? Background Clearance
? Tuberculosis Clearance (Risk Assessment or Skin Test)
? I-9 Verification (Appropriate US Work Permits as required)
? Complete Required Mandatory Trainings for School Employees
? Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for required work-related travel.
Travel & Driving Requirements
This position requires regular travel to various locations, including student homes, school sites, and events, to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Employees are expected to use a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel unless otherwise assigned.
Employees must maintain the required licensure, insurance, and driving record standards to perform essential
job functions. Failure to do so may impact continued eligibility for the role.
