Electrician LVL 1 - 2nd Shift in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts at Cartamundi East Longmeadow LLC

The Electrician Level 1 (Apprentice) will work with Production and Maintenance personnel on maintenance projects. The role will assist and train operators on procedures and equipment related to electrical at this facility. The long-range goal would be to become proficient in all software and hardware required to maintain the facility including PLC programming and acquired troubleshooting skills. The Electrician Level 1 will accumulate time and take steps to acquire their Journeymen electrical license.

What you’ll do as an Electrician Level 1 (Apprentice):

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codesPerform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issuesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsCollaborate with other team members to complete projects efficientlyEnsure compliance with safety regulations and protocolsUse power tools and hand tools to complete tasks

We are looking for an Electrician Level 1 (Apprentice), with the following experience:

Experience working as an ApprenticeHigh school diploma or equivalent, including being currently enrolled or completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles.Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of experienced electriciansAbility to follow instructions and safety protocols diligentlyA Fork Truck / Lift loft license is required
