We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our countertop fabrication team. This role is responsible for safely receiving, moving, storing, and preparing stone slabs for production while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:What You'll Do
- Receive and unload stone slab deliveries safely and efficiently
- Verify incoming materials against shipping documents
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies
- Move and store slabs using forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment
- Ensure materials are properly secured throughout the fabrication process
- Perform routine inspections of materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist production teams as needed to support daily operations
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of forklift experience
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- Experience in stone, countertop, construction materials, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
- Familiarity with inventory or production software systems
- Basic computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office
