In this executive leadership role, you will define and drive the technology vision behind a strategic software platform initiative designed to transform how clients optimize their operations. You will own the architecture, engineering strategy, and execution required to modernize legacy systems while building a scalable, commercial-grade cloud platform. This role combines deep technical leadership with organizational transformation, including shaping engineering culture, practices, and delivery standards. You will lead a growing engineering and data science organization, ensuring alignment between long-term architecture and near-term execution. Acting as both a strategic and external-facing leader, you will present the platform vision to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders. This position is ideal for a hands-on technology executive who thrives at the intersection of innovation, modernization, and enterprise-scale engineering.
- Define and execute the enterprise architecture and engineering strategy, balancing legacy modernization with new platform development.
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering and data science organization, establishing structure, accountability, and high-performance standards.
- Build and evolve modern engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps adoption across teams.
- Architect and oversee the migration of legacy systems to the cloud while enabling a new commercialized data and software platform.
- Drive technical decision-making for scalable system design, integration, and enterprise architecture evolution.
- Serve as a senior technology representative to customers, partners, and board-level stakeholders alongside executive leadership.
- Oversee cybersecurity strategy and governance in collaboration with dedicated security teams.
- Lead the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into the platform roadmap and production systems.
- Modernize software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and engineering delivery standards across the organization.
- Ensure systems are designed for scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering leadership, or technology strategy roles.
- Strong background in .NET-based environments and enterprise-scale application development.
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and legacy modernization.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling integrated software systems in complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and establishing Azure DevOps practices from the ground up.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production software systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, SDLC, and modern engineering best practices.
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering and technical teams.
- Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in fast-evolving environments.
- Competitive executive compensation ranging from $200,000 to $240,000 annually.
