This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Architecture & Technology in the United States.

In this executive leadership role, you will define and drive the technology vision behind a strategic software platform initiative designed to transform how clients optimize their operations. You will own the architecture, engineering strategy, and execution required to modernize legacy systems while building a scalable, commercial-grade cloud platform. This role combines deep technical leadership with organizational transformation, including shaping engineering culture, practices, and delivery standards. You will lead a growing engineering and data science organization, ensuring alignment between long-term architecture and near-term execution. Acting as both a strategic and external-facing leader, you will present the platform vision to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders. This position is ideal for a hands-on technology executive who thrives at the intersection of innovation, modernization, and enterprise-scale engineering.

Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the enterprise architecture and engineering strategy, balancing legacy modernization with new platform development.
  • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering and data science organization, establishing structure, accountability, and high-performance standards.
  • Build and evolve modern engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps adoption across teams.
  • Architect and oversee the migration of legacy systems to the cloud while enabling a new commercialized data and software platform.
  • Drive technical decision-making for scalable system design, integration, and enterprise architecture evolution.
  • Serve as a senior technology representative to customers, partners, and board-level stakeholders alongside executive leadership.
  • Oversee cybersecurity strategy and governance in collaboration with dedicated security teams.
  • Lead the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into the platform roadmap and production systems.
  • Modernize software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and engineering delivery standards across the organization.
  • Ensure systems are designed for scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering leadership, or technology strategy roles.
  • Strong background in .NET-based environments and enterprise-scale application development.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and legacy modernization.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling integrated software systems in complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and establishing Azure DevOps practices from the ground up.
  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production software systems.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, SDLC, and modern engineering best practices.
  • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering and technical teams.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in fast-evolving environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive executive compensation ranging from $200,000 to $240,000 annually.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
  • Opportunity to lead a high-impact, enterprise-wide technology transformation.
  • Executive visibility with direct exposure to customers, partners, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Chance to define and build modern engineering culture, practices, and platform architecture.
  • Leadership role shaping AI, cloud, and modernization strategy at scale.
  • Comprehensive opportunity for long-term impact in a growing technology organization.
