T H E R O L E

The Opportunity

The Dishwasher Lead is a hands-on operational leader responsible for overseeing the cleaning, sanitation, and preparation of all tabletop inventory. This role actively leads daily dishwashing operations, ensuring all items meet company quality standards and are processed efficiently to support outbound orders. The position requires direct involvement on the floor, managing workflow, maintaining equipment, and ensuring production targets are met in a high-volume environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Dishwashing Operations and Quality Control

  • Lead and participate in washing, drying, and inspection of tabletop items.
  • Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitized, polished, and rental-ready.
  • Identify and remove damaged or defective items.
  • Maintain sanitation standards and quality expectations.
  • Ensure accurate counts and return to inventory.

Operations and Workflow Management

  • Assign daily tasks and work alongside team members.
  • Monitor workflow and ensure timely turnaround.
  • Coordinate with Inventory and Fulfillment teams.
  • Track output and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure proper sorting and handling to reduce breakage.

Equipment, Facilities & Maintenance

  • Oversee dishwashing equipment operation and performance.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Manage chemicals and supply inventory.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Training and Safety

  • Train team members on procedures and equipment.
  • Enforce safety protocols and proper handling.
  • Promote a safe working environment.


W H O Y O U A R E

Qualifications & Experience

R e q u i r e d

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, dishwashing, or production environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday in a warehouse environment.
  • Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted; team lift required for items exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely.
  • Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and move throughout a large warehouse facility.

  • This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving equipment.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to work in outdoor loading dock areas subject to varying weather conditions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety footwear, high visibility vests, and gloves is required in designated areas.
  • Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
