Job Description
PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN – Inpatient Rehab Department at Parkview Randallia Hospital
Part-Time - 6pm - 6:30am Shift
- 24 hours per week.
- Weekend Requirement: Must self-schedule for 3 out of 8 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend shift considered Saturday or Sunday.
- Position is eligible for medical, dental, vision benefits and PTO (paid time off) accrual.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Must be accepting a position with a 0.6 FTE or higher.
- Cannot be a Parkview rehire from a bonus-eligible position within the last 2 years.
- Cannot owe a balance on a previously paid Parkview bonus.
- Cannot be a current Parkview employee in a bonus-eligible position.
SUMMARY
Inpatient Rehab is located on the 4th and 5th floors of Parkview Randallia. It is a 50 bed unit that primarily serves neuro, ortho, trauma, cancer, cardiac, and peds patients who are in a recovery phase following an acute inpatient stay. Patients are typically moderate to higher levels of acuity.

Is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 18 years of age but does not have a current High School diploma or GED, must meet the following requirements:
Must be actively working towards High School Diploma or GED and receive within 1 year of hire AND have a current CNA certification or have participated in a Health Occupations Education (HOE) program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet one of the following requirements:
- current CNA, EMT, or paramedic certification
- 2 or more years of work experience in a healthcare-related field
- currently enrolled in nursing school having completed first clinical rotation (transcripts required)
- must be able to complete a mandatory fulltime, two-week patient care training course
LICENSURE
Must have current CPR at or above the Healthcare Provider level from the American Heart Association or be able to obtain during Parkview-provided orientation class. CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certifications preferred.
