This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director Custom Networks Programs based in the United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving the execution of large-scale, high-value customer network programs with significant financial and operational complexity. The position ensures end-to-end delivery governance, from program intake through execution and completion, while maintaining contractual compliance and customer commitment integrity. You will lead cross-functional teams and serve as the primary escalation point for high-risk issues, ensuring timely resolution and recovery when needed. The role requires strong executive presence and the ability to translate complex delivery environments into clear, actionable insights for leadership and customers. You will also define and standardize governance frameworks that improve consistency, scalability, and performance across programs. This is a highly visible position where disciplined execution, stakeholder alignment, and strategic oversight directly impact enterprise-level outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end ownership of large-scale customer network programs, ensuring alignment on scope, execution plans, financial impacts, and delivery commitments throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Manage program intake and change control processes, ensuring disciplined governance and transparency across evolving requirements and execution adjustments.
  • Oversee and develop high-performing teams of managers and senior professionals responsible for delivery execution, governance, and operational excellence.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across regional, national, and partner organizations to ensure cohesive execution and removal of delivery barriers.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for program risks, deviations, and scope changes, leading recovery planning and corrective action execution.
  • Establish and standardize program management frameworks, governance models, and performance reporting structures to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and strategic insight into program performance, risks, dependencies, and financial or operational trade-offs.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to accelerate decision-making and ensure accountability for delivery against customer commitments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 12+ years of experience in program management, portfolio leadership, or PMO roles.
  • At least 5+ years of experience leading managers or senior professionals in complex, enterprise-scale delivery environments.
  • Strong expertise in program governance, including intake management, prioritization, change control, and performance tracking across large initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams with strong accountability structures.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex delivery and operational data into clear insights.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer outcomes, financial impact, operational constraints, and strategic priorities.
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from approximately $174,876 to $256,486, depending on location and experience.
  • Eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive compensation programs.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life, disability, and voluntary lifestyle benefits supporting overall wellbeing.
  • Retirement savings plan with potential company contributions.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States (#LI-Remote).
  • Paid time off and additional company holiday programs.
  • Access to leadership-level visibility and high-impact enterprise programs.
