Join our growing Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician (Seasonal) at Richman Property Services, Inc (RPS), in Victoria, TX!
Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance Operations team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team. This is a seasonal or "Fall" position, the assignment will likely last 3-6 months, and may lead to a regular full time position with RPS for the right Maintenance Tech.
Position: Maintenance Technician 1
Location: Mockingbird Lane Plaza, our 160-unit residential community located in Victoria, TX
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, weekend rotation required, discussed during interview process
What we offer our Full-Time Maintenance Tech's:
- Competitive base hourly pay, day time schedule (8:00-5:00pm, Monday through Friday)
- $40.00 per month personal cell-phone allowance
- We prefer applicant's that already have EPA 1 & 2 or EPA Universal, if you are currently EPA certified but posses the right skills, experience, drive to join our team, we may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA certification within your first 75-days or hire.
What we are looking for:
- 2 or more years experience performing maintenance in a similar high-volume multi-family residential environment
- Experience with Yardi property management software
- Ability to work on-call/weekend rotation
- Excellent resident relations skills, penchant for curb-appeal, teamwork minded individuals looking to grow!

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Skills & Certifications:
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
