Job Summary:
The Member Relationship Manager supports Fahe’s Member Caucus structure by building strong, collaborative relationships with Members across the region. The role emphasizes strategic planning, event coordination, and intentional outreach to ensure Caucus activities are meaningful, engaging, and aligned with Fahe’s mission. The Manager also supports Member-driven advocacy and education efforts with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate Member Caucus meetings and regional gatherings, ensuring alignment with Fahe’s engagement goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Fahe Members, encourage participation, and gather feedback to improve the Caucus experience.
  • Plan and support events (e.g., Spring Retreat, Annual Meeting) with a focus on logistics, content development, and participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on projects that impact Members, ensuring timely communication and smooth execution.
  • Support advocacy and educational efforts through partnerships and Member involvement.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years in social innovation, business development, community organizing, events, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse organizations and communities.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong event planning, logistics, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce.
  • Comfortable working remotely.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Preferred: Experience with CDFIs, advocacy organizations, or coalition-building; caucus/committee management; PMP or similar certification.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Remote position with occasional travel to meetings and to the Fahe Berea office as needed.
  • Frequent video conferencing and digital collaboration with team members.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
