Position Overview:

The Applications Engineer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions that drive satisfaction, long-term relationships, and retention. This role combines engineering, project management, and customer engagement, serving as a key link between customers, sales, and internal teams. The position requires a balance of technical expertise, customer service mindset, and project ownership that establishes the ground-truth of what the solution-set envisioned by the customer will be.

Key Responsibilities

· As the primary technical interface for customers, build strong relationships and provide responsive, professional support throughout the project lifecycle.

· Collaborate with the commercial team to accurately define the product configuration for quoting and order fulfillment.

· Maintain an advanced understanding of the product portfolio to effectively support diverse customer applications.

· Conduct proof-of-concept testing with product configurations appropriate for customer applications.

· Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to customers.

· Provide market and product feedback to Product Management.

· Travel as needed to customer sites for demonstration, installation, or support needs.

· Document customer engagements, contacts, and activity in CRM.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics engineering, or relevant industry experience that includes robotics

· Experience working with and programming industrial robots

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in an applications engineering or industrial manufacturing role

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

· Self-motivated, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

· Proficiency in MS Office and familiar with working in a CRM

· High level of professionalism and responsiveness to internal and external customers
