Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations
• Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Manage cash handling duties, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Support food service operations by serving baked goods, snacks, and light meals in a timely manner
• Ensure a welcoming environment by engaging with customers, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering excellent customer service

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or the food industry
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
