Position: 2nd Shift Cutter Operator

Schedule: 2:30pm – 11pm

1Vision is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cutter Operator to join our Bindery Department on 2nd shift. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical abilities and the experience necessary to work independently while maintaining high-quality production standards. Over the next 2 months, we are on extended hours, and the hours will be from 4pm until 4am, 7 days a week. Highly motivated operators only need apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet production schedules and deadlines while minimizing waste.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Journeyman status required.
• Minimum of 5 years of cutter operator experience required.
• Ability to produce quality work with little to no supervision.
• Other bindery equipment experience is a plus (but not required).
• English language proficiency preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
