This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CyberArk Transformation Lead based in India.
Lead enterprise-wide Privileged Access Management (PAM) transformation programs using CyberArk across complex technology environments.
You’ll define strategic direction, architecture, governance, and delivery frameworks for large-scale identity security initiatives.
The role combines executive stakeholder engagement with hands-on leadership across architecture, engineering, migration, and integration teams.
You’ll assess existing PAM environments, design future-state solutions, and develop practical migration strategies from legacy platforms.
Your work will strengthen privileged access controls, reduce security risks, and establish scalable security practices across enterprise environments.
You’ll collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, IAM, and cybersecurity teams to deliver integrated transformation outcomes.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced CyberArk professional looking to shape enterprise security strategy and build a mature PAM operating model.
- Lead CyberArk PAM transformation programs from initial assessment and strategy through implementation, production deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Define the enterprise PAM strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and target operating model in alignment with security and business objectives.
- Conduct current-state assessments and design robust future-state CyberArk architectures for complex enterprise environments.
- Lead customer and stakeholder workshops, translating security requirements and business priorities into actionable transformation plans.
- Engage with senior and executive stakeholders to communicate strategy, progress, risks, dependencies, and transformation outcomes.
- Develop and execute migration strategies from legacy PAM solutions to CyberArk-based environments while minimizing operational and security risks.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising security architects, engineers, testers, integration specialists, and other technical resources.
- Establish implementation standards, security controls, governance practices, and best practices for privileged access management.
- Coordinate closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, IAM, and cybersecurity teams to ensure successful integration and adoption.
- Drive risk mitigation, issue resolution, dependency management, and executive-level reporting throughout transformation programs.
- Establish and develop a CyberArk Center of Excellence (CoE) to promote consistent standards, reusable practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure PAM transformation initiatives align with enterprise security architecture, regulatory expectations, and broader identity security objectives.
- 12–15+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, identity and access management, PAM, security architecture, or related enterprise technology domains.
- Strong hands-on and strategic expertise with CyberArk PAM, including PVWA, CPM, PSM, and PTA.
- Deep understanding of Identity Security Platforms and enterprise Privileged Access Management transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP, with an understanding of identity directories and enterprise authentication environments.
- Solid experience with Windows and Linux administration and the security considerations associated with privileged access.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and enterprise environments across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Broad knowledge of IAM and Enterprise Security Architecture, with the ability to connect PAM strategy to wider identity and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including assessment, architecture, migration, implementation, deployment, and governance.
- Strong program leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities, including experience facilitating workshops and communicating with senior executives.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinate delivery across multiple technology functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk-management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
- CyberArk Defender, Sentry, or Guardian certification is preferred.
- CISSP, CISM, Azure Security, or AWS Security Specialty certifications are advantageous.
- Experience establishing or operating a CyberArk/PAM Center of Excellence is highly valued.
