Position Summary
You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our environmental monitoring products by calibrating various temperature and humidity monitoring devices. You will maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance, contributing directly to the safety and efficiency of our Calibration Lab.
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute calibration procedures for temperature and humidity monitoring devices using standard calibration equipment.
- Analyze calibration data to identify and address any deviations from specified tolerances.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with devices, identify the root cause, and implement/document corrective action on an appropriate scale.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive calibration records for devices.
- Ensure that daily calibration procedures always adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe calibration lab environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
To Excel:
- Associate’s degree or certification in a relevant technical field, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience as a Calibration Technician, with a focus on temperature and humidity monitoring devices.
- Strong knowledge of calibration methodologies, standards, and equipment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
