Job Title: Adult Learning Student Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Adult Learning Student Assistant will provide support to the Office of Adult and Experiential Learning and assist with projects related to adult learners, workforce development, and Credit for Prior Learning. This position will also provide support with administrative and program needs related to the Prison Education Program as needed.
Qualification and Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled Kentucky State University student who is eligible for Federal Work Study.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned projects.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and other basic technology platforms.
Ability to conduct research and organize information in a clear and useful way.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with student and departmental information.
Interest in higher education, workforce development, student success, business, communications, social work, or a related area is helpful but not required.
Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.
