Event Marketing Specialist in Stow, Ohio at Wilson Companies

Job Description:

We’re looking for outgoing, energetic Event Marketing Specialists to join our marketing team!

As a Part-Time Event Marketing Specialist, you will represent Wilson at community events, local events, home shows, and other promotional opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio. You’ll help increase brand awareness, connect with potential customers, and create positive experiences that introduce homeowners to Wilson’s services.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, and being an enthusiastic representative of a trusted local company.

• Event Representation: Represent Wilson at community events, home shows, and other promotional opportunities.
• Customer Engagement: Start friendly conversations with attendees and provide information about Wilson’s products and services.
• Brand Awareness: Create positive interactions that increase awareness of Wilson throughout the Northeast Ohio community.
• Lead Generation: Identify individuals who may have an interest or need for Wilson’s plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, or other home services.
• Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up, maintaining, and breaking down Wilson’s promotional materials and event displays.
• Professional Representation: Maintain a professional, energetic, and positive presence while representing the Wilson brand.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and leadership to support event goals and promotional initiatives.
• Follow-Up & Accountability: Accurately document leads and event activity while participating in team check-ins and performance tracking.

• A Car and Valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma/GED required
• Above-average communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable standing and interacting with people for extended periods
• Willingness to work at indoor and outdoor events
• Must pass random drug testing
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to various event locations throughout Northeast Ohio
• Must be able to come into the Stow, OH office once a week
