The Clinical Testing Manager will lead the clinical testing and validation of AI-enabled healthcare solutions designed to support nurses and clinical teams.
This role brings frontline nursing expertise directly into the product development lifecycle, ensuring technology reflects real-world clinical workflows and standards.
You’ll evaluate AI-driven patient and nursing interactions for clinical accuracy, safety, escalation, disposition, and communication quality.
The position combines clinical judgment, structured testing, analytical thinking, and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, QA, and Clinical teams.
You’ll identify patterns and opportunities for improvement and translate clinical findings into actionable product recommendations.
Your work will directly influence clinical quality, product decisions, and the safe adoption of healthcare AI in real-world care environments.

- Lead and manage clinical testing and validation activities for AI-enabled healthcare solutions, ensuring testing reflects real-world nursing practice and clinical standards.
- Coordinate clinical testers, establish consistent testing approaches, and maintain high-quality documentation throughout the validation process.
- Evaluate AI interactions for clinical appropriateness, accuracy, escalation and disposition decisions, workflow alignment, patient communication, and overall safety.
- Aggregate and analyze testing results to identify recurring trends, patterns, strengths, gaps, and opportunities for product optimization.
- Translate clinical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, QA, and other technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain clinical test cases, evaluation rubrics, reference standards, and testing documentation to support repeatable and reliable validation.
- Partner cross-functionally on continuous improvement initiatives and the clinical validation of new features, workflows, and AI capabilities.
- Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert and advocate for practical nursing workflows throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and bring a strong foundation in clinical nursing practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a master’s degree in nursing, informatics, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- Bring at least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with nurse triage experience highly recommended.
- Candidates without nurse triage experience must have acute-care experience in emergency nursing, ED triage, or critical care to be considered.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, escalation, and disposition decision-making skills.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical findings for both clinical and technical audiences.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, critical-thinking, and pattern-recognition abilities, with a structured approach to evaluating clinical outcomes.
- Experience in clinical quality, clinical validation, nursing informatics, healthcare technology, or AI is preferred.
- Familiarity with generative AI, conversational AI, large language models, or other AI-enabled healthcare technologies is an advantage.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across Clinical, Product, Engineering, and QA teams.
