Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Store Associate to join our team. Our Store Associates help create a fun and welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. From helping someone find their favorite pancake mix to recommending a local gift, ringing up purchases, stocking shelves, and keeping our store looking great—you’ll be an important part of the New Hope Mills experience!

What You’ll Do
Greet every customer with a friendly smile and a genuine “Welcome to New Hope Mills!”
Provide exceptional customer service and help guests find exactly what they are looking for.
Share your knowledge and enthusiasm about New Hope Mills products, gifts, mixes, and merchandise.
Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit card, and other transactions.
Keep shelves stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers.
Create and maintain attractive and fun product displays and seasonal merchandise areas.
Help receive, unpack, and inspect. price and put away merchandise.
Assist customers with product questions and make recommendations when appropriate.
Keep the store, displays, counters, and customer areas clean and inviting.
Help maintain an organized backroom and accurate inventory.
Assist with special events, promotions, tastings, and seasonal activities.
Work closely with the Café and other New Hope Mills team members.
Help create a memorable experience for tourists, families, regular customers, and members of our local community.
Jump in and help wherever needed—because at New Hope Mills, we’re a team!
Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift merchandise.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to approximately 30–40 pounds as needed.
Ability to safely perform assigned duties in a retail environment.
