Roles and Responsibilities:

• Live the company’s values by displaying our high standard characteristics and behaviors that lead to our collective success as outlined in our Values in Action.
• Work collaboratively with the Production Cleaner(s) to clean all production areas within the meat department.
• Clean and sanitize trays, lugs, carts, tables, and processing equipment, including grinders, patty machines, portion-cutting machines, and saws.
• Thoroughly clean floors, walls, ceilings, drains, and other production surfaces.
• Operate hot water pressure-washing equipment and use approved cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
• Inspect work areas to ensure sanitation standards are met and maintained.
• Properly handle, store, and use sanitation supplies and chemicals.
• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the Team Lead.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
• Complete all assigned cleaning tasks to ensure production areas are ready for the next shift.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic mathematics
• Ability to read and understand chemical labels and safety information.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Salary:

• $19.00- $21.00 an hour

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 3:30 PM- 11:30 PM

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a cold, wet, refrigerated production environment.
• Comfortable working around food products and processing equipment.
