Build, Support and Grow With Us

OSW Group is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing European team and take ownership of day to day HR operations in Poland.

This is a hands on role covering the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, HR systems and employment compliance.

You will be the key HR contact for our employees and managers in Poland while working closely with our Global HR team and European stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our HR Generalist in Poland, you will manage local HR operations and ensure our people processes are practical, compliant and consistent with our global approach.

You will have significant ownership of the Poland employee experience while contributing to the continued development of OSW Group’s HR operations across Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee changes and offboarding

• Coordinate end to end recruitment for Poland, including advertising, candidate screening, interviews, offers and onboarding

• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, employee documentation and other employment related correspondence

• Coordinate onboarding requirements including occupational medical examinations, health and safety requirements and mandatory employment documentation

• Coordinate and review payroll information, ensuring employee changes, leave, bonuses, allowances and other payroll inputs are accurate and submitted on time

• Work closely with our payroll provider to review payroll outputs and resolve payroll queries

• Maintain accurate employee information within Rippling and other HR systems

• Support managers with employee relations matters, performance concerns, attendance, probation and day to day people management

• Coordinate probation reviews and performance processes

• Manage employee leave and absence administration

• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with Polish employment legislation and local requirements

• Support disciplinary, grievance and termination processes in conjunction with Global HR and external advisers where required

• Support salary benchmarking, remuneration reviews and employment offers

• Maintain HR records, employee files and required documentation

• Prepare HR reporting and workforce information for management

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and workflows

• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve HR processes

• Assist with European HR projects and expansion into additional markets as required

• Work closely with Global HR to ensure local requirements are appropriately reflected within global HR frameworks

• Support the day to day coordination of the Poland office, including office supplies, facilities, service providers and general workplace requirements

• Assist with office setup and practical arrangements for new employees and visiting colleagues

• Provide general administrative and PA support to the Sales Manager as required, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, documentation and other routine business support

• Support local meetings, employee events and other office activities as required

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced HR professional who is comfortable managing day to day HR independently while working as part of an international team.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an HR Generalist or similar broad HR role

• Strong working knowledge of Polish employment legislation and HR requirements

• Experience coordinating or reviewing Polish payroll

• Experience managing recruitment and onboarding from beginning to end

• Practical experience managing employee relations and performance matters

• Experience preparing employment contracts and HR documentation

• Strong HR systems experience, with experience using Rippling or another global HRIS highly regarded

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confidence working directly with employees, managers and senior stakeholders

• Strong written and spoken English and Polish

• The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and take ownership of outcomes

• A practical and solutions focused approach to HR

Experience working within an international organisation or supporting employees across multiple countries would be highly regarded.
