Take the lead in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in a globally connected technology environment. In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities to guide infrastructure consultants and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions. You will oversee cloud architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and resource optimization while ensuring reliable service delivery. Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will establish best practices, resolve complex infrastructure challenges, and align cloud solutions with evolving business needs. You will also contribute to service development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives that strengthen cloud offerings and customer value. Accountabilities- Lead OCI architecture and implementation: Design, oversee, and implement robust Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements, with a strong focus on scalability, availability, security, and performance.
- Manage and develop infrastructure teams: Lead a globally distributed team of infrastructure consultants, providing technical guidance, coordinating delivery activities, and promoting consistent, high-quality service standards.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery: Develop and maintain resilient cloud architectures, including business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, to minimize downtime and protect critical workloads.
- Strengthen cloud security and compliance: Establish and maintain security best practices across OCI environments, including identity and access management, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the technical escalation point: Investigate and resolve complex OCI incidents, provide expert troubleshooting, and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring infrastructure issues.
- Optimize cloud performance and capacity: Monitor infrastructure performance, conduct performance tuning, and plan capacity to ensure cloud resources meet current and anticipated business demands.
- Drive cloud cost optimization: Analyze cloud consumption, identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary spending, and implement cost-management practices that improve resource utilization and financial efficiency.
- Develop cloud service offerings: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies, sales enablement resources, service packages, pricing models, and promotional initiatives that communicate the value of OCI solutions.
- Establish technical standards and best practices: Develop reusable methodologies, operational procedures, and implementation guidelines to improve consistency, efficiency, and quality across cloud projects.
- Monitor and report service performance: Maintain detailed technical documentation and prepare reports covering cloud usage, performance metrics, infrastructure health, and cost analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery: Work closely with technical consultants, business stakeholders, sales teams, and other relevant functions to balance priorities, manage expectations, and deliver effective cloud solutions.
- Promote continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure architecture, operational processes, service quality, and cloud management practices.
- Professional experience: At least 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, including a minimum of 3–5 years specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Strong OCI technical expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, database services, and cloud monitoring and management tools.
- Cloud architecture and implementation: Demonstrated ability to design and oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong understanding of scalability, resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Security and compliance knowledge: In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, access controls, and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Infrastructure operations and troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose complex cloud infrastructure issues, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliable corrective actions.
- Performance and capacity management: Experience monitoring infrastructure performance, optimizing resource allocation, planning capacity, and ensuring cloud services meet business requirements.
- Cloud financial management: Ability to analyze cloud expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize infrastructure utilization without compromising performance or reliability.
- Technical leadership: Experience guiding infrastructure consultants or technical teams, establishing best practices, reviewing technical solutions, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercial and strategic awareness: Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams on service positioning, pricing strategies, sales enablement, and the development of competitive cloud offerings.
- Documentation and reporting: Strong skills in preparing technical documentation, operational procedures, infrastructure reports, and performance and cost analyses.
- Organization and problem-solving: A proactive, analytical approach to resolving technical challenges, managing competing priorities, and delivering effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Willingness to identify new opportunities, refine operational processes, and adopt cloud infrastructure best practices to improve customer outcomes.
