The Chef oversees daily kitchen operations and culinary activities, develops menus, and ensures food quality, presentation, sanitation , and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This position supervises mentors, and trains kitchen staff, manages inventory, ordering, and cost-effective use of resources; and coordinates with service staff and management to support prompt, effective service.

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure culinary activities align with established standards and regulations
• Develop and update menus
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentations, portion sizes, garnishing, and sanitation
• Monitor food preparation methods and ensure food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner
• Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
• Manage inventory and order supplies to support kitchen operations

• Proven experience as a chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
• Ability to develop menus
• Understanding of food and safety regulations
