The role!
Position: MAP Trainer RN
Location: Wakefield, MA
Pay rate: $44 per hour
Hours: Part-time, approximately 60 hours per month. Weekly hours will be flexible to meet Agency needs.
Summary & Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse MAP Trainer provides the Agency competent oversight of the MAP systems and ensures compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Conduct full MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification and recertification trainings as scheduled to meet the Agency’s training needs.
- Proctor MAP testing for staff as needed (when other training staff aren’t available to do so).
- Complete MAP audits at residential programs on a quarterly basis.
- Provide specialized training to employees as required by DDS.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Active Massachusetts MAP trainer Certification required.
- Valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Must pass company background and reference checks
