This role is centered on delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions within complex enterprise environments. You will act as a key functional and technical bridge between business stakeholders, implementation teams, and ISV ecosystems to ensure successful solution design and deployment. The position involves leading functional requirements gathering, configuring and supporting Business Central modules, and guiding customers through implementation lifecycles from design to go-live. You will also play a critical role in validating Per Tenant Extensions (PTEs), ensuring system performance, scalability, and alignment with business needs. Working in a collaborative consulting environment, you will engage directly with clients, support training efforts, and help drive adoption of modern ERP capabilities. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences operational efficiency and digital transformation outcomes.
- Lead functional requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into scalable Business Central solution designs.
- Support implementation and configuration of Business Central modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Warehousing.
- Oversee migration of system setups, master data, and historical records using configuration packages and structured deployment methods.
- Validate and test Per Tenant Extensions (PTEs), ensuring alignment with functional requirements and system integrity.
- Support end-to-end deployment activities, including UAT, mock go-live, production go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Deliver end-user training and adoption support for Business Central modules and integrated ISV solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, upgrades, and continuous improvement of ERP solutions.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800) certification and Developer certification (MB-820).
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) and Solution Architect (PL-600) certifications.
- Strong functional expertise across Business Central modules including Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with ISV solutions such as Insight Works (Dynamic Ship/Warehouse Insights), TrueCommerce (EDI), and VersaPay (ERP payments/cash application).
- Familiarity with additional ISVs such as Avalara (AvaTax), Continia (Document Capture), and iDynamics (iCommissions) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Business Central development concepts, including AL code, Per Tenant Extensions, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience supporting UAT, go-live planning, and enterprise ERP implementation lifecycles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to train and support end users.
- Knowledge of Power Automate and CRM-related processes is an advantage.
