This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Critical Care Business Manager in Canada.

This role is a field-based commercial position focused on supporting and expanding the use of critical care medical technology across hospitals in Eastern Canada. You will act as a key partner to neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and clinical decision-makers, ensuring optimal adoption and safe use of a specialized medical device used in neonatal critical care. Operating across Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic provinces, you will combine clinical understanding with business development expertise to drive adoption, strengthen hospital relationships, and identify new growth opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with medical, technical, and commercial teams to ensure seamless device utilization and customer support. You will also play a key role in training healthcare professionals and supporting hospital readiness. This is a high-impact position where commercial execution directly contributes to improving outcomes for critically ill infants.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and hospital decision-makers across assigned territories.
  • Drive the adoption and appropriate use of critical care medical devices in line with clinical guidelines and company objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective hospital accounts.
  • Manage account performance, including revenue forecasting, contract tracking, and business planning.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules in collaboration with technical support and customer care teams.
  • Deliver training and in-service education to healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective device usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, clinical, technical, and commercial stakeholders, to support account success.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, pharmacovigilance processes, and healthcare regulations.
  • Build and execute structured territory plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital contracts, clinical environments, and therapeutic applications.
Requirements
  • Background as a trained Respiratory Therapist or equivalent clinical healthcare experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital sales, medical device sales, or healthcare account management experience.
  • Strong understanding of hospital environments and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and deliver commercial results in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a field-based, remote, and matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with a structured, business-oriented mindset.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and significant travel across assigned regions.
Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package aligned with experience and performance.
  • Field-based role with flexibility and autonomy across a large geographic territory.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and wellness benefits package.
  • Opportunities to work closely with clinical experts and leading healthcare institutions.
  • Ongoing training and professional development in medical technology and clinical applications.
  • Supportive and mission-driven environment focused on improving patient outcomes.
  • Travel support for regional responsibilities across Eastern Canada.
  • Access to cross-functional collaboration with medical, technical, and commercial teams.
