Job Description
Chevo is hiring an experienced IT Program Management Office (IT PMO) Consultant to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to DHS IT Governance and Oversight engagements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
(*Note – the term acquisition below refers to post award oversight. This is not a pre-award acquisition opportunity):
- Effectively interpret, apply, and provide expert advice regarding existing DHS IT acquisition policies, processes, procedures, lessons learned, and current best practices, ensuring all work performed is compliant and effectively delivered.
- Support policy and process development for non-major acquisition programs. Assist in implementing non-major processes, including identification of programs that should be under non-major policy purview and engagement with acquisition programs to provide guidance throughout the Acquisition Lifecycle and SELC frameworks
- Review acquisition program documents and plans for content, consistency, accuracy, completeness and relevancy. Examples include Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Program Systems Engineering Plans, Operational Requirements Documents, Program Plans, etc.
- Consolidate data from various sources and draft periodic status reports. Examples include. Documentation Status Reports, Meeting Schedules, Meeting Attendance Trackers, Action Item Trackers, among others.
- Coordinate, schedule and facilitate acquisition governance meetings for multiple oversight bodies
Required Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. required
- 5 Years of IT Program Oversight/IT Governance
- Strong knowledge of and experience working with DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) including the major artifact requirements for each.
SALARY RANGE: $73K - $85K (subject to change)
