This role sits at the intersection of applied artificial intelligence, full-stack engineering, and real-world business transformation. You will design and build end-to-end AI-powered applications that directly improve critical workflows and decision-making processes. The position requires both strong technical depth and product thinking, as you translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed AI into everyday operations, enabling smarter, faster, and more automated outcomes. You will also play a leadership role in shaping engineering standards, mentoring peers, and driving technical excellence across projects.
This role is responsible for designing, building, and owning applied AI solutions that address high-impact business problems and improve real operational workflows.
- Identify high-friction business problems and translate them into well-structured technical and AI-driven solutions.
- Design and build end-to-end full-stack applications powered by modern AI and machine learning technologies.
- Own technical architecture, design decisions, and trade-offs across assigned projects.
- Deploy production-grade AI systems and ensure ongoing performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Partner closely with users and stakeholders to understand workflows and convert insights into technical requirements.
- Review, test, and approve code to maintain high standards of quality, maintainability, and consistency.
- Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to team growth, engineering practices, and technical excellence.
- Continuously improve internal tools, development processes, and applied AI engineering standards.
This role requires strong full-stack engineering expertise combined with deep applied AI experience and the ability to operate in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong full-stack development capabilities.
- Proven experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including agentic AI systems.
- Strong understanding of modern AI frameworks, machine learning techniques, and applied AI architectures.
- Experience designing scalable, reliable software systems across the full technology stack.
- Ability to translate complex, ambiguous business problems into clear technical solutions.
- Strong technical leadership skills with experience owning architecture and engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering best practices and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong product mindset with the ability to align engineering work with business outcomes.
- Competitive base salary range: $116,500 – $192,300 (depending on experience and location).
