Summary/Objective: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities at Marywood and The Flame. The primary objective of this role is to provide guests and visitors with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by performing housekeeping duties efficiently and to the highest standards.
Essential Job Functions: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
•Guest Room Cleaning: Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities such as towels, soap, and toiletries.
•Public Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain public areas at Marywood and The Flame, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, dining areas, elevators, stairwells, meeting spaces, and other guest-facing areas.
•Laundry Duties: Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry, including towels, linens, uniforms, and other guest-related items. Ensure all linens are fresh, clean, and in good condition.
•Stocking and Organization: Restock cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities as needed. Ensure all supplies are organized and stored properly.
•Compliance with Safety Standards: Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations.
•Reporting: Report maintenance, repair, safety, or housekeeping concerns in guest rooms, public areas, Marywood facilities, or The Flame to management. Ensure all items requiring attention are properly documented and communicated.
•Facility Support: Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of Marywood and The Flame, including special projects, deep cleaning, event preparation, and seasonal cleaning activities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
•Strong dependability and work ethic.
•Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
•Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and chemicals and proper cleaning techniques and safety standards.
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
•Previous experience as Housekeeper.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements: No travel is expected for this position.
Work Environment: The Housekeeper position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role involves frequent walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. The position may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. The work is primarily indoors and requires working in guest rooms, restrooms, and public spaces. Flexibility in hours is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the hotel’s operating hours.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
•Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 lbs.
•Ability to bend, stoop, or crouch to access lower shelves or clean floors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
•This is a Part-time position Non-Exempt position.
•Flexibility in work hours is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are the peak times for restaurant operations.
•Mandatory meetings and participating in training.
