Job Description

Lead Product Designer, Provider Experience

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Product Designer, Provider Experience based in the United States.

This is a high-impact design leadership role focused on shaping the provider-facing experience within a large, multi-sided care marketplace. You will define and evolve workflows that help senior living and home care providers manage partnerships, improve lead quality, and better serve families navigating complex care decisions. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, UX craft, and operational design, with strong influence on both customer and business outcomes. You will work across product, engineering, research, operations, marketing, and sales to simplify complex systems into intuitive, high-trust experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where execution, systems thinking, and strategic influence are equally important. It also emphasizes modern, AI-augmented product design practices and experimentation with emerging tools to accelerate discovery and delivery. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and mission-driven, with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and measurable impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end product design for provider-facing experiences, including discovery, journey mapping, prototyping, and production-ready design across workflows that support provider growth, engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex marketplace dynamics into clear, usable, and scalable workflows for providers, internal teams, and operational stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Operations, Sales) to define problem spaces, success metrics, tradeoffs, and release priorities.
  • Design for clarity, trust, and speed in high-stakes workflows where providers need accurate information and confident decision-making support.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights—research, analytics, frontline feedback, and business data—to shape product direction and validate design decisions.
  • Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities that improve both provider success and overall marketplace outcomes.
  • Contribute to and extend shared design systems, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and UX writing practices.
  • Mentor other designers through critique, storytelling, and raising the overall design bar without formal management responsibility.
  • Experiment with AI-enabled design workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, synthesis, and iteration, while maintaining strong standards for usability and trust.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in product design for complex web, SaaS, marketplace, CRM, or internal/operational tools.
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end product design in ambiguous environments, from problem framing to shipped solutions.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, interaction design, and measurable impact on product or business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in information architecture, UX design, and designing for multi-stakeholder workflows.
  • Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools (e.g., design assistants, prototyping tools, or AI-enabled workflows) and understanding their strengths and limitations.
  • Strong ability to communicate design rationale using evidence, prototypes, and structured storytelling.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (especially Figma) and experience creating flows, prototypes, and design specifications.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners and influencing product direction in fast-paced environments.
  • High level of product judgment, pragmatism, and ability to balance craft quality with delivery speed.
Benefits:
  • Base salary range: $165,000–$185,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity of 10%
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • Paid time off
  • Remote-friendly flexibility (as applicable to role setup).
