Job Description

Corporate Development Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Development Manager based in United States.

This role sits at the core of a high-growth acquisition strategy, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions that fuel expansion across a multi-location services business. You will manage the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing acquisition targets and conducting financial analysis to supporting negotiations and driving post-close integration. The position blends corporate development, financial modeling, and hands-on project execution in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment. You will work closely with leadership, brokers, sellers, and cross-functional teams to ensure deals move efficiently from pipeline to close and into successful store launches. Beyond deal execution, you will play a key role in turning newly acquired businesses into fully integrated, high-performing operations. This is a highly ownership-driven role where speed, precision, and follow-through directly impact growth outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and manage a high-volume acquisition pipeline, identifying and tracking potential targets across markets.
  • Conduct financial analysis of target businesses to assess performance, valuation, and deal structure.
  • Prepare investment memos, deal summaries, and decision-support materials for leadership and investment committees.
  • Manage end-to-end deal execution from initial evaluation through closing, ensuring timely progression of all stages.
  • Coordinate with brokers, sellers, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate due diligence and transaction completion.
  • Lead post-close integration efforts, ensuring smooth transition and operational readiness of new locations.
  • Track acquisition KPIs, pipeline performance, and deal milestones to ensure accountability and execution speed.
  • Continuously improve deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution processes to increase efficiency and scale.
Requirements:
  • 6–10+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, financial analysis, or deal/project execution roles.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to evaluate small to mid-sized businesses and interpret key performance metrics.
  • Proven experience managing multiple deals or complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building or contributing to acquisition pipelines through sourcing, outreach, or targeted deal generation.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in multi-location or service-based industries (e.g., automotive, healthcare, home services) is a plus.
  • Exposure to private equity, roll-up strategies, or transaction-heavy environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with working alongside brokers, sellers, and legal partners in deal processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with corporate development and M&A market benchmarks
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and annual paid holidays
  • Employee discounts on services and parts
  • Paid skills development and training opportunities
  • Employee referral program incentives
  • Fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership and impact
