Medical Liaison

This role offers an exciting opportunity to act as a scientific bridge between healthcare professionals and a leading healthcare innovation organization. You will play a key part in advancing clinical understanding of medical solutions by building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and clinical stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. The position blends scientific expertise, field engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to support product education, clinical research, and evidence generation. You will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes by translating real-world clinical insights into actionable product and innovation strategies. This is a highly collaborative and field-oriented role, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse medical audiences. The position also involves significant travel and offers the opportunity to influence healthcare innovation at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and researchers to facilitate scientific exchange and product knowledge sharing.
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise to internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Support the development of educational materials and deliver training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on product usage, safety, and clinical value.
  • Engage in and support advisory boards, clinical discussions, and new product development initiatives to inform innovation and strategy.
  • Present scientific and clinical information at conferences, symposia, and medical meetings to communicate product value and research findings.
  • Identify and support clinical research collaborations with external institutions and investigators to advance evidence generation.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from healthcare professionals regarding product performance and patient outcomes to guide future improvements.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, ethical, and industry standards while maintaining scientific integrity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or a scientific discipline (BSN, MSN, MPH, DNP, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Vascular Access Nurse, Infusion Nurse, or Infection Control Professional.
  • Board certification in Vascular Access and/or Infection Control is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, including clinical research and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs or medical device field roles is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing field-based responsibilities.
