This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a global event marketing strategy that spans physical, virtual, and hybrid formats. You will play a key role in driving demand generation through high-impact events, including trade shows, customer roundtables, executive forums, and large-scale digital webinars. The position requires a strong blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring every event contributes directly to pipeline and revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with regional marketing, sales, product marketing, and partner teams to deliver well-coordinated and high-performing programs. As the owner of the digital events and webinar strategy, you will also define best practices for virtual engagement and conversion. This is a highly cross-functional and impact-driven role in a fast-paced global marketing environment focused on measurable outcomes and continuous optimization.
- Define and execute the global event marketing strategy, building an annual calendar that balances third-party events, first-party programs, and digital initiatives.
- Evaluate and prioritize event opportunities based on audience fit, pipeline potential, competitive landscape, and ROI.
- Oversee participation in trade shows, industry conferences, and partner events, ensuring strong regional alignment and execution support.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics including vendors, booth production, staffing, registration, and operational coordination.
- Develop and execute pre-event promotion plans in collaboration with campaign operations and regional marketing teams.
- Own the digital events and webinar program, including platform management, content planning, execution, and post-event lifecycle.
- Drive webinar performance through optimization of registration, promotion, attendance rates, and engagement metrics.
- Ensure structured post-event follow-up processes, lead routing, and pipeline tracking in collaboration with sales teams.
- Partner with content and digital marketing teams to develop event assets, campaigns, and paid amplification strategies.
- Track event performance, attribution, and pipeline contribution, providing regular reporting to leadership.
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and cost optimization across all formats and regions.
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or related roles with ownership of multi-format events.
- Strong experience managing trade shows, customer events, and large-scale digital/webinar programs.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from strategy through execution and post-event analysis.
- Experience with webinar platforms such as Zoom Webinars, ON24, BrightTALK, or Goldcast.
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent events across regions and formats.
- Experience executing integrated event promotion campaigns across email, social, and paid media channels.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Marketo, or similar) for tracking leads and pipeline attribution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across sales, marketing, product, and external partners.
- Experience in budget management and vendor negotiation with a focus on ROI optimization.
- Preferred: experience with MDF/partner-funded programs and familiarity with B2B tech training or professional learning industries.
