Senior HR Advisor

This role is a high-impact HR advisory position focused on employee relations, manager coaching, and the consistent application of people policies within a fast-paced and complex organization.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing real-time guidance on performance management, conduct issues, and workplace conflicts.
The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and maintaining fair and consistent HR practices across teams.
You will manage a high volume of employee relations cases while identifying trends and recommending proactive solutions to improve organizational health.
The role also supports broader HR programs, including engagement initiatives, talent processes, and organizational change activities.
It is well suited for an experienced HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is confident making independent, judgment-driven decisions.

Accountabilities:
  • Independently manage a high volume of employee relations cases, including performance management, conduct issues, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Provide real-time coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, documentation standards, and HR policy application.
  • Identify patterns and trends in employee relations cases and recommend proactive interventions to address systemic issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and risk management standards through accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Support organizational processes such as reductions in force (RIF), terminations, and M&A-related HR activities.
  • Execute HR programs including engagement surveys, pay planning, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Deliver training sessions and support capability-building for managers and employees in partnership with HR and learning teams.
  • Maintain accurate case records and HR data while collaborating closely with HR operations and centers of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on employee relations and manager advisory responsibilities.
  • Proven experience independently handling high-volume employee relations cases, including investigations and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and risk mitigation practices.
  • Experience supporting exempt employee populations; healthcare or clinical environment experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and ability to use digital tools (including AI) to improve HR efficiency.
